The Playful Penguins

Once upon a time, a group of playful penguins lived in the cold and snowy Antarctic. They spent their days sliding down ice cliffs, racing each other across the frozen tundra, and diving into the icy waters to catch fish.

One day, the penguins decided to have a contest to see who could come up with the most creative and fun game. The winner would be the leader of the playful penguins for a whole week!

The first penguin, Fred, suggested they play a game of hide-and-seek. But the other penguins thought that was too boring and had been done before.

The second penguin, Sally, suggested they play a game of tag. But the other penguins thought that was too ordinary and had been done before.

The third penguin, named Louie, had a brilliant idea. He suggested they play a game of “penguin pyramid.” The rules were simple: the penguins had to stack themselves on top of each other to form the tallest pyramid possible without falling over.

The other penguins thought Louie’s idea was fantastic and immediately began to practice. They spent the whole day trying to stack themselves up, but no one could make a pyramid taller than three levels.

Just when they were about to give up, a fourth penguin named Betty, who had been watching from the sidelines, decided to join in the fun. She had a special talent for balance and could stack the penguins to form a towering pyramid of seven levels!

The other penguins were amazed and declared Betty, the contest winner. She was made the leader of the playful penguins for a whole week, and they all had a great time playing “penguin pyramid” together every day.
