The Lazy Lion and the Ants

Once upon a time, in a vast savannah lived a lazy lion named Leo. Leo was known for his laziness; he would spend all day lying in the sun and never hunting for food. He would always wait for other animals to bring him food, but they were tired of his laziness and stopped helping him.

One day, while lying in the sun, Leo saw a group of ants carrying food from one place to another. He thought to himself, “If those tiny ants can work so hard, why can’t I?” So, he decided to put in some effort and catch his own food.

He tried to chase after the ants, but they were too fast for him. He tried to dig a hole into trapping them, but they were too smart for him. He even tried to use a leaf as a fishing net, but they were too agile for him.

Feeling discouraged, Leo lay down in the sun and thought about what to do next. Suddenly, an idea came to him. He remembered that ants always follow a scent trail left by their fellow ants, so he decided to put some food at the end of the trail and wait for the ants to come to him.

To his surprise, it worked! The ants followed the scent trail to the food, and Leo was able to catch enough food for the day. From that day on, Leo learned to put in the effort to catch his own food and was no longer lazy.
